Nitriding and nitrocarburizing furnaces

IVR is also specialized in manufacturing of nitriding furnaces for various applications and process options, including gaseous nitriding, nitrocarburizing, and nitriding with pre-oxidation and post-oxidation.

Nitriding is a thermal process used in various sectors, including automotive, the production of gears and hot or cold pressed parts, drilling tools and components for the military industry.

These systems can be equipped with various options aimed at reducing process times, such as a vacuum pump and a rapid cooling system with heat exchanger.

A variety of electronic instruments supplied with nitriding plants allow control, gas analysis, process management and treatment repeatability. The furnaces, equipped with a metal muffle, can be made both horizontally and vertically for the nitriding of components of considerable length. The heating system can be electric, using resistors, or gas, using burners.
